The house's first cuvée, Prologue introduces the philosophy of Champagne J.M. Labruyère: expression of the terroir, precise dosage and prolonged ageing on lees.
The 2020 harvest was dominated by a rainy, mild winter followed by a hot, dry summer.
The harvest, one of the earliest in Champagne, began on 25 August and produced very aromatic Pinot Noir grapes, faithful to the terroirs of Verzenay.
Prologue 2020 is a generous, indulgent and harmonious Champagne, the ideal partner for aperitifs and desserts.
